Due to a malicious change of publisher’s address of some applicants once the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is assigned, the National Library of the Philippines will implement the following policies on processing the ISSN application, effective on 21 August 2023.

Inaalala ngayong 1 Agosto 2023 ang ika-79 taong anibersaryo ng kamatayan ni dating Pangulo at itinuturing na Ama ng Wikang Pambansa, Manuel L. Quezon. Bilang paggunita sa araw na ito, ibinabahagi ng Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas ang mayamang koleksiyon tungkol sa buhay at mga nagawa ni Pangulong Quezon gaya ng mga dokumento, monograph at kaniyang mga talumpati. The National Library of the Philippines joins the entire nation in celebrating History Month this August 2023. This is in virtue of Proclamation No. 339, s. 2012 which declares the month of August of every year as History Month since major events in the nation’s history occurred in the month of August which include National Heroes Day, the anniversary of the Cry of Pugadlawin and the Battle of San Juan del Monte, and the birth and death anniversaries of heroes and presidents. Nakikiisa ang Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa ngayong Agosto 2023.
