The operations of the #NationalLibraryPH and Sentro ng Karunungan Library will continue to be SUSPENDED tomorrow, 25 July 2024, due to the continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon “Carina,” as per the announcement from the Office of the Executive Secretary.

The library operations of #NationalLibraryPH and Sentro ng Karunungan Library are 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 today, July 24, 2024, in accordance with the announcement from the Office of the Executive Secretary and recommended by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. This decision is due to the forecasted continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon “Carina”.

Library operations of #NationalLibraryPH and Sentro ng Karunungan Library are SUSPENDED at 2:00 PM today, 23 July 2024, due to continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon “Carina”. This is in line with Memorandum Circular No. 57, s. 2024, from the Office of the President. All operations and reading room services will resume tomorrow, 24 July 2024.

Sa bisa ng Republic Act No. 9430 of 2007, ipinagdiriwang ang “Apolinario Mabini Day.” Samahan si Prof. Xiao Chua at alamin ang iba’t ibang mga nilikha at naisulat ni Mabini sa bidyong ito.

The National Library of the Philippines (NLP), led by Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano, along with Public Libraries Division (PLD) staff Ms. Vida Dorea P. Mendoza, Librarian II, and Mr. Michael James R. Reyno, Librarian II, conducted technical assistance and observation visits to several public libraries in Negros Oriental. These include the Dumaguete City Public Library, Bais City Library, Tanjay City Library, Tayasan Municipal Library, and Valencia Municipal Library.
