The National Library of the Philippines joins the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the whole nation in celebrating the 𝟭𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. This is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1050, s. 1997 which declares the month of September of every year as the Civil Service Month, and in observance of the establishment of the Philippine Civil Service by virtue of Public Law No. 5 issued on 19 September 1900.
