Empowering Communities Through Public Library Visits in the Province of Isabela

The National Library of the Philippines visited its affiliated public libraries in the Province of Isabela on February 17-21, 2025 to support its Local Government Units (LGUs) in providing excellent public library services for their communities. Representing the NLP were Mr. Michael James R. Reyno, Librarian II, and Ms. Amy Felice Bucago, Librarian I from the Public Libraries Division.

This activity enables engagement with some Local Chief Executives, Officials, and Leaders to discuss the benefits of reviving their inactive and closed public libraries, emphasizing the importance of providing equal access to knowledge and lifelong learning for the entire community.
