The National Library of the Philippines will be CLOSED on Friday, 11 August 2023, in celebration of its 136th Founding Anniversary. Inaalala ngayong 1 Agosto 2023 ang ika-79 taong anibersaryo ng kamatayan ni dating Pangulo at itinuturing na Ama ng Wikang Pambansa, Manuel L. Quezon. Bilang paggunita sa araw na ito, ibinabahagi ng Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas ang mayamang koleksiyon tungkol sa buhay at mga nagawa ni Pangulong Quezon gaya ng mga dokumento, monograph at kaniyang mga talumpati.
