In celebration of National Heritage Month 2024, under the theme “Championing Heritage: Capacity Building to Transform Communities,” the #NationalLibraryPH is showcasing its efforts in book preservation and conservation. As the guardian of the nation’s cultural and intellectual legacy, the NLP plays a crucial role in safeguarding our heritage through the management and preservation of invaluable library materials.
Our 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 offers insight into the materials and processes employed in book preservation at the NLP, providing valuable knowledge for fellow libraries. Additionally, the Filipiniana Division invites interested individuals/groups to a FREE training workshop on Basic Book Preservation and Conservation of Paper-Based Collection.
