Technical Assistance on Records Disposition Administration

Last Friday, 2 September 2022, the Records Management Services Division of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) conducted Technical Assistance on Records Disposition Administration, in preparation for the establishment of Records Disposition Schedule of the National Library of the Philippines (NLP). The activity has been attended by the Records Management Improvement Committee of NLP. Ms. Christin Licopit and Ms. Jean Adena shared their expertise and discussed various topics such as the Records Salient Features of RA 9470 (or the NAP Act of 2007); Definition of Records, Records Disposition Program (RDP); Activities in RDP; Records Inventory; Records Appraisal; Development of Records Disposition Schedule (RDS); Preparation, Submission and Approval of RDS; and Application / Implementation of RDS.
