PLAI 100 Years Committee Meeting

The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) headed by Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano and Assistant Director Edgardo B. Quiros welcomed the officials and members of the PLAI 100 Years Steering Committee during their first meeting held at the NLP Conference Room on 7 September 2022, in preparation for the centennial celebration of the Philippine Library Association Inc. (PLAI) in partnership with NLP in October 2023. 

The meeting was attended by Mr. Rene Manlangit, Honorary Chair; Ms. Lilia F. Echiverri, Chairperson; Dir. Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano, Co- Chairperson; Ms. Blesila P. Velasco, Secretary; Ms. Xenia B. Romero, Asst. Secretary; Mr. Bryan Boy Cortez, Asst. Treasurer; and the Advisers, Prof. Salvacion M. Arlante, Ms. Prudencia C. Cruz, and Ms. Emma M. Rey. 

Also present in the meeting are the NLP Division Chiefs– Ms. Dolores D. Carungui of the Reference Division, Ms. Maricel M. Urena of the Research and Publications Division, and Mr. Leonardo P. Bernabe Jr. of the Information Technology Division.
