Italian Book about the Philippines, Deposited in the NLP

Italian author, Mr. Giulio Cargnello, visited the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) on September 23, 2022 to deposit his book “La diplomazia della Santa Sede e i governi nelle Filippine e a Guam. Dalla crisi dell’impero spagnolo alla nascita della superpotenza statunitense nel Pacifico dopo la guerra ispano-americana del 1898.”  Recently published in Italy, the book is about the diplomatic negotiations between the Holy See and the governments during the Spanish-American War in the Philippines and Guam.

Ms. Melody Madrid, Chief of the Collection Development Division (CDD), welcomed Mr. Cargnello, and accepted his publication as a Legal Deposit.
