The National Library of the Philippines and Sentro ng Karunungan Library will be CLOSED on Monday and Tuesday, October 14-15, 2024, due to the expected travel of numerous participants for the opening of the 10th Session of the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR), in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 66, series of 2024, from the Office of the President. All operations and reading room services will resume the following day, October 16, 2024.

The NLP Data Center will undergo maintenance on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During this time, all systems and online transactions will be unavailable, including incoming and outgoing telephone communications (trunk lines), internet access, the Integrated Library System (KOHA), the NLP website, the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), the International Standard Numbering Systems Application (INS-POAS), and all other public-facing websites. Ang Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas ay nakikiisa sa Pambansang Komisyon sa Katutubong Pamayanan at sa buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng mga Katutubong Pamayanan ngayong Oktubre, at ng ika-27 anibersaryo ng pagpapatibay ng Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) o Batas ukol sa Karapatan ng mga Katutubo. Sa temang “Mga Katutubo at Katutubong Dunong: Pahalagahan, Pangalagaan, at Parangalan,” kasama ang inyong Pambansang Aklatan sa pagbibigay-pugay at pagpapalakas sa ating mga Katutubong Pamayanang Kultural, at sa paggunita ng mahalagang batas sa kanilang mga karapatan.
