The National Library of the Philippines joins the Philippine Commission on Women and the whole nation in the observance of the 2022 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women from November 25 to December 12, 2022. The new recurring theme from 2022 to 2027 is “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines” which is anchored on the United Nations Secretary-General’s UNiTE by 2030 to End Violence Against Women Campaign (UNiTE Campaign) and is aimed at strengthening and combining individual efforts to achieve a community free from violence. #VAWfreePH #NationalLibraryPH

Initial Allocation for Newly Affiliated Public Library
The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) turned over the initial allocation of library resources today, 10 November 2022, to the New Corella Municipal Library of Davao del Norte, a newly affiliated public library of NLP.
NLP Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano led the turnover to Hon. Monet Federiso, Mayor of New Corella, Davao del Norte, and Hon. Joann Federiso, SB Member.
The New Corella Municipal Library received e-resources with 1 set of computer, printed materials, sets of encyclopedias, globe, maps and CDs.
