𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗟𝗣

The signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) was held earlier today at the Common Service Area of NLP.

The program was attended by the heads of the two agencies including NLP Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano and Asst. Director Edgardo B. Quiros; Usec Joseph B. Encabo, Chairman of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA); Asec Abdusalam A. Guinomia, Board Member III and Education and Advocacy Cluster Head of CDA; Mr. Ray R. Elevazo, Deputy Administrator, IDS of CDA; Hon. Roberto “Obet” Pagdanganan; and other CDA officials and NLP employees.

The MOA aims to establish a dedicated cooperative section at NLP to create a hub of knowledge, showcasing books, research paper studies and other valuable resources that empower individuals to explore the opportunities, benefits and transformative power of cooperatives to make the society well-informed and encourage them to engage actively in cooperative endeavors.

The Cooperative Section is temporarily located at the Common Service Area, ground floor of the NLP Building.
