ππππ: The #NationalLibraryPH (NLP), through the Public Libraries Division, Information Technology Division, and Catalog Division, successfully conducted a three-day βππ«ππ’π§π’π§π π¨π§ ππ¨π‘π ππ§πππ π«ππππ ππ’ππ«ππ«π² ππ²π¬πππ¦ (πππ)β on April 23-25, 2025 at the NLP Function Room, Ermita, Manila.
A total of 40 Librarians and IT Officers from 20 non-public libraries including academic, special, and school libraries actively participated in the sessions. The training aimed to:
β refresh participantsβ knowledge on the various modules of the Koha ILS;
β highlight and identify the functions and relevance of each module in daily library operations; and
β provide hands-on demonstrations to improve system navigation and utilization.
Participants were also given the opportunity to participate in a guided library tour of the NLPβs Permanent Gallery, offering them a deeper appreciation of the institutionβs rich collection and history.
This initiative is part of NLP’s ongoing commitment to support and enhance libraries across the country, providing them with contemporary tools and expertise to better serve their communities.
