The National Flag at Half-Mast: Death of Former President Fidel V. Ramos

The National Library of the Philippines is one with the whole nation in remembering the life of former President Fidel V. Ramos who died yesterday, 31 July 2022 at the age of 94. The national flag in front of the NLP Building was flown at half-mast this morning as a sign of respect and mourning. Based on Section 23 of Republic Act No. 8491, the flag shall be flown at half-mast for ten (10) days after the day of official announcement of the death of a former President.
