SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF LIBRARY FURNITURE
FOR THE
NATIONAL LIBRARY OF THE PHILIPPINES
The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) through the authorized appropriation for 2013 General Appropriation Act (GAA) intends to apply the sum of Nine Hundred Ninety Thousand Pesos (PhP990,000.00) being the Approved Budget Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply and Installation of Library Furniture for the National Library of the Philippines under Public Bidding No. 13-16 through negotiated procurement as mandate by Section 53.9 of the implementing rules of R.A. 9184. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
Three (3) nominated suppliers are invited to submit their proposal on or before December 11, 2013 at 5:00 PM, to wit:

Delivery of the furniture is required within thirty (30) calendar days upon issuance of Notice to Proceed.
The supplier with the lowest calculated bid shall advance to the post-qualification stage in order to finally determine his responsiveness to the technical and financial requirements of the project. The contract shall then be awarded to the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bidder who was determined as such during the post-qualification procedure.
Bid opening shall be on December 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Training Room, 4th Floor NLP Building. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or authorized representatives who choose to attend the activity. Late Bids shall not be accepted.
The NLP reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
