The National Library of the Philippines will be CLOSED on Thursday, June 30, 2022 in consideration of the road closure and traffic rerouting plan that will be implemented as part of the security measures for the presidential inaugural ceremonies to be held at the National Museum of the Philippines (formerly known as the Old Legislative Building), Padre Burgos Avenue, Ermita, Manila.
NLP reading room services will be available on June 28, 29 and July 1 but offices will adopt a skeleton workforce since the closures of Padre Burgos Avenue, Finance Road, Ma. Orosa Street, General Luna Street, and other nearby roads are expected to generate heavy traffic in the area and cause inconvenience to NLP employees and other commuters.
