NLP Exhibit of Rare Books and Manuscripts
The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) would like to invite everyone to visit our Exhibit of Rare Books and Manuscripts FOR FREE! The exhibition is located at the 2nd Floor Lobby of the NLP Building, T.M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila, and will run up to November 29, 2022 as one of the activities of the 32nd Library and Information Services Month. Featured in the exhibit are the diverse rare collections of NLP, from the original manuscripts of Dr. Jose Rizal, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, and his original poem, Mi Ultimo Adios. Also on display are: Acta de la Proclamacion de Independencia del pueblo Filipino, rare books, photographs, maps and memorabilia.
Special feature in this exhibit is the provision of audio transcription for each display, especially made for our visually challenged clients. Try to scan the QR code provided to hear the description.
