Ninoy Aquino Day

The National Library of the Philippines joins the nation in commemorating the 40th death anniversary of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. today. Republic Act No. 9256 declares August 21 of every year as Ninoy Aquino Day.
