To all Public and School Librarians:
We would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming activity entitled “Managing Risk in Libraries : A Roundtable Discussion on Risk and Changes in the Libraries”, organized by the National Library of the Philippines. This activity is part of the celebration of the National Heritage Month and will be held on 9 May 2023, from 8:30AM – 11:00 AM at the Epifanio Delos Santos Auditorium, National Library of the Philippines. NLP Assistant Director Edgardo B. Quiros and the Deputy University Librarian and Head of the University Archives of the University of the Philippines, Ms. Eimee Rhea C. Lagrama will be the guest speakers.
The roundtable discussion aims to explore the different risks that libraries face in today’s rapidly changing environment and how librarians can effectively manage these risks. It is also intended to provide a platform for librarians to share their experiences and insights on how to manage risks in libraries, especially during times of change. We believe that your participation in this event will greatly contribute to the success of the discussion and help foster a better understanding of the challenges that librarians face in managing risks in their respective libraries. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to network with fellow librarians and learn from each other’s experiences.
