LIS Month Seminar 3: Importance of Conservation of Cultural Properties
LIS Month Seminar 3: Importance of Conservation of Cultural Properties
The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) cordially invites everyone to join us in our third and final seminar-workshop for the celebration of the 32nd Library and Information Services Month. The seminar entitled “Importance of Conservation of Cultural Properties” will be conducted on Monday, 21 November 2022, 1:00 PM, at the NLP Auditorium, T. M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila.
It is a very special opportunity for us to have Master Conservator Ephraim “Eddie” Jose as our resource speaker for this seminar. His substantial knowledge and experience in restoring and mounting Asian works on paper and fabric, especially in the art conservation traditions of Japan and the Himalayan thangka conservation efforts, is something that we can all learn from. He has traveled extensively to conduct consultations, lecture presentations, and hands-on workshops, and will be coming to NLP to share his great wealth of experience with us.
It will be a feast to our eyes to personally see the artworks that he will be showing during the seminar. Hence, we encourage everyone to join us onsite in this seminar. We are providing the link to the ONSITE REGISTRATION below to give priority to those who will participate in person:
