Iranian Studies Section was established pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the National Library of the Philippines which was signed on February 17, 2009 at Tehran, Iran by Ali Akbar Ash’ari, Cultural Advisor to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Director of the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and by the Director of the National Library of the Philippines. The Section caters on Iranian resources and offers free Persian language tutorial. It is being managed by an Iranian on a staggard schedule: Monday, Friday & Saturday (8:00AM – 5:00PM)
