EDSA People Power Revolution 36th Anniversary

The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) joins the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the EDSA People Power Commission, and the whole nation in commemorating the 36th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution with the theme EDSA 2022: Pagtutulungan Tungo sa Sama-samang Pagbangon mula sa Pandemya.

The EDSA Revolution reminds every generation on the value of Filipino courage, collective movement, and peaceful revolution in restoring and protecting our democracy. Included in NLP’s Picture Collections are various photos of public demonstrations taken during the 1986 EDSA Revolution that reflect people’s engagement to enact change.
