𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬, hailing from Bagani-Campo in Candon City, is the sole surviving Ilocano weaver crafting burial cloths for the Kankanaey and Bontoc communities in the Cordilleras. Recognized as an Ilocos Sur Living Treasure in 2009, Ramos epitomizes the enduring legacy of Inabel, a cherished emblem of the region’s cultural richness. The recognition also manifests the ferment goal of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur to rediscover and conserve our heritage. Renowned for its skillful craftsmanship, Inabel transcends Philippine and Asian textiles, embodying a heritage of resilience and elegance.
