Deo Rama College of Tanza Visits the NLP

“Sa National Library, mag-eenjoy ka dito!”

Young learners of the Deo Rama College of Tanza got LSS with this part of the lyric of the National Library of the Philippines’ jingle as they enjoyed the educational tour presented by the Research and Publications Division showcasing the areas to visit at NLP with the treasures and collections of the library, including the original manuscript of Dr. Jose Rizal’s novels and other collections with significant value to our heritage and history.

Students from preschool to Grade 3 level together with their parent/guardian and faculty members actively participated in the storytelling activity and puppet show on 19 January 2023 at the Epifanio delos Santos Auditorium as part of their educational tour. NLP Kuwentistas of the Children Section, Reference Division performed an interactive storytelling with the classic children’s story, “Si Pagong at Si Matsing,” and concluded the program with the dance performance of the NLP jingle.
