Cataloging in Publication (CIP) is a service offered to local publishers for books published in the Philippines. It is a voluntary program of the National Library of the Philippines through the Catalog Division and is provided free of charge. Its purpose is to produce standardized bibliographic descriptions for forthcoming Philippine publications.
