Ang Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas ay nakikibahagi sa pagdiriwang ng ika-452 taong anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Maynila bilang Lungsod. Ang Maynila, kung saan matatagpuan ang gusali ng Pambansang Aklatan, ay naging tahanan din ng marami sa ating mga bayani at naging lunan ng maraming makasaysayang pangyayari at pakikipaglaban tungo sa kalayaan ng ating bansa. NLP Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano gave an inspirational message at the 5th Association Librarians in Public Sector (ALPS), Inc. National Convention with the theme “Future Proofing Public Libraries: Maximizing Opportunities and Elevating Productivity” held at Sugarland Hotel, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. The convention was also attended by Ms. Blesila Velasco, Chief, and Ms. Rhodora Valdez, Librarian IV of Public Libraries Division, Public Librarians, Library OICs, and Local Chief Executives. The 5th ALPS National Convention is from June 21-23, 2023.

Isang masayang umaga ang naganap para sa mga batang mag-aaral ng Child Development Center ng Manila ngayong araw na nakilahok sa pagdiriwang ng ika-162 anibersaryong kaarawan ng ating bayani na si 𝗗𝗿.
