The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) received the Certificate of Registration for its Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) today, 3 October 2022. The certificate was awarded by Atty. Mary Grace P. Dugay, Acting Director II of CSC BSP Field Office and was received by NLP Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano, together with the officers of The National Library Employees Association (TNLEA), led by its president, Ms. Cherry V. Melquiades.
BTA-LRD visited NLP
The National Library of the Philippines received a visit from the Legislative Reference Division (LRD) of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) – Legislative Technical Affairs and Information Service (LTAIS) last 12 October 2022. Cataloging in Publication (CIP) is a service offered to local publishers for books published in the Philippines. It is a voluntary program of the National Library of the Philippines through the Catalog Division and is provided free of charge. Its purpose is to produce standardized bibliographic descriptions for forthcoming Philippine publications.

Congratulations to the Recent Civil Service Exam Passers
The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) congratulates the passers of the recent Civil Service Exam (CSE) conducted last August 7, 2022. Among them are four passers who are currently working in the NLP, namely Ella Marie N. Medrana, Rovelyn L. Centina, Angel V. Curib, and Alyanna Kriza S. Centeno. All of them passed the CSE professional level.
