NHM Onsite Exhibit on Local Heritage

We would like to invite students, researchers, and visitors of the National Library of the Philippines to take some time and see the simple exhibit on local heritage that has been set in the 2nd floor lobby of the NLP Building. The exhibit is in celebration of the National Heritage Month 2022 with the theme “Pamanang Lokal: Binhi ng Kulturang Pilipino” and features selected articles from the H. Otley Beyer Ethnographic Collection about valuable cultural heritage from different localities in the country.

Henry Otley Beyer was an American anthropologist, known as the “Dean of Philippine ethnology, archaeology, and prehistory.” The H. Otley Beyer Ethnographic Collection is available online through NLP’s Tekno-Aklatan by visiting https://nlpdl.nlp.gov.ph/TechnoAklatan.htm.
