The National Library of the Philippines (NLP) joined the annual โ€œ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—™๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐโ€ held in Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City last December 7-8, 2024. The Reading Festival was spearheaded by the National Central Library in Taipei, Taiwan, integrates reading promotion with the natural ecology, strengthens the connection between reading and life, sustain the reading promotion momentum accumulated over the years, using a positive and innovative way to show the diverse styles of reading, and connecting with people all over the country.
The #NationaLibraryPH booth, named โ€œ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฝ, ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑโ€, showcased the Rizaliana collections like the facsimile copies of Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusterismo, and the Monkey and the Turtle. The booth also highlighted the NLPโ€™s services, like virtual tours and childrenโ€™s activities drawing interest from both local families and international visitors.
