Marcos Jr. has designated Tuesday as a Day of National Mourning following the passing of Federico Caballero, a revered epic chanter and cultural guardian of the Sulod-Bukidnon tribe in Central Panay, who was honored as a National Living Treasure. President Marcos issued a presidential proclamation to acknowledge Caballeroโs dedication to preserving and promoting the Sugidanon tradition in his community.
