The is providing access to print and non-print library materials for persons with visual disability like 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄, large print, audio books and e-resources.
𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄 is a method of written communication for blind persons where the letters are made out of raised dot patterns that can be felt with the fingertips.
Writing tools include a 𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄 and a 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐘𝐋𝐔𝐒. In a manner, writing in braille is similar to writing on paper with a pen and a stylus when using a slate and stylus. Users can manually emboss dots on their paper using this technology.
One of the services of NLP is the conversion of printed materials into alternative formats accessible to the blind and people with print disabilities, and those with reading barriers clients.
