๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฌ | The #NationalLibraryPH conducted a basic workshop on handling persons with disabilities with the NLP employees in the celebration of the ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐ฟ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ . This activity will look into many aspects of the libraryโs frontline services, such as readership and library assistance. It also attempts to equip NLP employees with relevant information on Persons with Disabilities, as well as specific techniques and practical recommendations, with the goal of integrating it into the libraryโs normal programs and activities.
Representatives of the National Council on Disability Affairs, ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ข๐จ and ๐ ๐. ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ฆ. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ป๐ผ led the aforementioned session. The attendees were delighted with their new learning, expanding their perspectives about the regulations pertaining to disabilities. Through this activity, NLP contributes in promoting a more inclusive agency in the community.
