The #NationalLibraryPH and the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL) through the Laguna Provincial Library (LPL) in partnership with the Association of Librarians in the Public Sector (ALPS) conducted an impactful day 1 of the 11th Conference on Children and Young Adults Librarianship with the theme โ๐ฟ๐ช๐ฃ๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ช๐ก๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐ฃ๐ ๐ผ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ, ๐๐ช๐๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฃ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ช๐ฃ๐ก๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ช๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ฃ,โ at Los Banos, Laguna.
The morning session began with the registration of participants and presentation of the conference proper in the afternoon. Participants were welcomed by the message of the Governor of the Province of Laguna, ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐น ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐, represented by ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ ๐ฃ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ Librarian IV of Laguna Provincial Library. This was followed by the inspirational message of ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ค. ๐๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ of National Library of the Philippines. The conference ended with the keynote message delivered by Congresswoman of 2nd District of Laguna, ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐ฅ๐๐๐ต ๐ . ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐.
The first day of the conference provided a stimulating platform for learning, networking, and knowledge exchange. The conference is ongoing until 13 October 2023 with the presentations from a pool of experts in the field in the different sessions prepared by the organizing committee.
