Renewal of MOU on Cooperation between NLP and National Library & Archives of Iran
Dr. Morteza Sabouri, the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Manila, visited the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) and met with NLP Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano on 14 December 2021 for the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and NLP. The MOU was originally signed in 2009 by former director Prudenciana C. Cruz and was renewed in 2013 by late Director Antonio Santos.

The meeting has also been attended by Ms. Dolores Carungui, Chief of the Reference Division (RD) and Ms. Chona Galo, Librarian III of RD.
