46th Birth Anniversary of President Sergio Osmeña

Today, September 9, 2024, the National Library of the Philippines commemorates the 146th Birth Anniversary of President Sergio Osmeña Sr., the 4th president of the Philippines. As per Republic Act No. 6953, September 9 is a special non-working public holiday in the Province of Cebu, and a special working holiday across the rest of the country, paying tribute to the late President Osmeña.
