3-day Orientation on Basic Administration for BJMP Personnel

The training, which is part of the tripartite Memorandum of Agreement between BJMP, UNODC, and NLP in relation to the implementation of the 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥-𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳-𝘞𝘢𝘺-𝘖𝘶𝘵 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 (𝘙𝘠𝘞𝘖) 𝘰𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘢 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘢, was attended by librarians and library staff from the thirteen (13) selected pilot district jail libraries across the Philippines.

Participants were oriented on the basic processing and arrangement of library materials received from UNODC, tips on the management of libraries, and had a refresher on the salient features on circular/s concerning administration of jail libraries.

All participants, including members of the RYWO Technical Working Group and Secretariat, also had a tour on the different facilities and services of the National Library of the Philippines.
