Please be informed the only the Filipiniana Division is open from Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00am to 7:00pm. The Reference Division is currently closed due to the ongoing retrofitting services of the building. The NLP has now opened its doors to library tours, cultural exhibits and the use of the auditorium on a case to case basis. Kindly contact us for inquiries.

1st International Conference on Children's Librarianship

In celebration of the 21st National Children's Month this coming October, the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) in cooperation with the Association of Librarians in the Public Sector (ALPS) will hold a 3-day conference on children's librarianship with the theme “Connecting and Linking of Information through Transformed Children's Libraries to the Digital Era” on October 13-15, 2014 in Tagaytay International Convention Center (TICC), Tagaytay City.

NLP offers Chinese Language (Mandarin) classes

The China Book Room at the Reference Division, National Library of the Philippines is offering Chinese Language (Mandarin) classes every Wednesday 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Tuition fee is PhP2,500.00 for 1 course to be taught in 36 hours.
