Greetings between people of various ages of different nationalities may take the form of a buss on the cheek or both, or a tip of the hat or a slap on the buttocks or a nod of the head. Filipinos do these greetings as well but what differentiates them from the others is the way they show respect to elders or to relatives or plain kindred spirit.

The National Book Development Board (NBDB) together with the National Library of the Philippines and other partner agencies, is inviting you to the Philippine Book Festival, the largest traveling book festival in the Philippines.

The National Library of the Philippines joins the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the National Heritage Committee in celebration of the National Heritage Month 2023 with the theme, “Heritage: Change and Continuity.”

The NLP, through the Public Libraries Division, will be conducting a program entitled Training-Series on Delivering the Basics of Quality Public Library Service from May 2023 to July 2023.
